Swedish slant-front writing desk, circa 1780, with fitted interior and retaining its original brass hardware. Behind the drop front are several banks of stepped drawers, two disguised document drawers and a compartment with a signed drawer and raised panel door.

Below the writing surface are five drawers, all with decorative hardware. The desk sits on the original shaped bracket base.
