Pair of period Gustavian armchairs, Sweden circa 1800, with rounded backs and upholstered seats.  The pierced splats and top rails have carvings of wheat, a symbol of prosperity and abundance.  Padded armrests, square legs, and H-shaped stretchers. No repairs, sturdy and comfortable.
