Nineteenth Century Swedish Secretary
Period neoclassical secretary in two parts, Sweden circa 1840. The upper section has a straight cornice with dentil molding and double doors with raised, reeded panels with incised lozenges. Inside are three shelves with a central divider. The lower section has a fitted interior behind the slant front with three full-width drawers below. The slant front itself has a reeded panel with detail like that of the doors above. Simple bracket base.
