Gustavian Secretary with Library
Period Gustavian secretary in two parts, Sweden circa 1830. The upper library section has a graceful arched cornice with double raised-panel doors. Inside are three fixed shelves, the top one having a concave form with notches for spoons. The lower section has a slant front opening onto a fitted interior with lovely carving around the open central storage area. Below that are three drawers, all resting on compressed ball feet.
