Neoclassical Swedish Secretary in Three Parts
Secretary with breakfront library, Sweden circa 1810. The upper section has a bold cornice with reeding, dentil molding and a central oval, all above three doors with reeded lozenges. Inside each section is a box drawer below two shelves. The middle or desk section has a slant front and full width drawer below. Inside are drawers, some disguised, and a central locking compartment. In the bottom section are three full-width drawers with reeded drawer fronts supported by tapering square legs. A true statement piece with plenty of storage.
