Early Mora Clock in Red Paint

Exceptional example of a rococo tall case clock from the village of Mora, Sweden, circa 1780. In excellent original condition and retaining its original painted surface, this clock features a carved "crown" and beaded detail at the neck, belly, and base. The hand-painted face is signed "Mora." The works are freshly cleaned and adjusted with missing parts hand-fabricated. The clock chimes the hour and the half hour.
