Blue Grey Clock from Jämtland

Swedish tall case clock, circa 1800, with floral carving. The roses on on the "bridal" crown are repeated with a bow at the throat and around the pendulum window. On the hip is a curved detail reminiscent of the peplum of the bride's dress. The case features early paint and a beautiful teardrop shaped door. Original clockworks with double chime.
