Single Door Armoire with Birds

Paint-decorated armoire, Austria circa 1760, with a single door. The two recessed panels are painted with wonderfully natural scenes, each showing a bird with flowers and berries. Flanking the door are four panels with faux porphyry, and below the door is a marbled drawer. The interior retains the original hand-carved pegs. No restoration to paint or hardware.
